Go test your olfactory senses. Odora and Odorysseus, a rare pair of Titan Arums or Corpse Flowers, are now blooming at Los Angeles’ Huntington Gardens. The Corpse Flower is the world's largest unbranched inflorescence (one giant stalk holding thousands of flowers) with a famously horrific odor (a potpourri of sweaty socks and rotting meat). The bloom only opens for 24-48 hours and happens every two to three years.
P.S. If you’re not in LA (or aren’t brave enough to endure the stench), you can watch Odora bloom via livestream.
